Delete your Android Texter account

App: Android Texter (com.androidtexter.smsgateway) · Cloud Communication Platform LLC

Delete it yourself, in about ten seconds

  1. Sign in at androidtexter.com/dashboard/settings/security. The app links to this same page from its main menu (the three dots), under Delete my account and data.
  2. Scroll to Delete your account and press the button.
  3. Type your email address to confirm.

The account and its data are gone immediately, not queued. You get a confirmation email saying what was removed. There is no grace period and no copy kept, so this cannot be undone.

Or ask us to do it

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, with "Delete my account" in the subject. We reply within 2 business days and delete within 30 days of the request, usually the same day.

What gets deleted

  • Your account, name, email address and sign-in
  • Every linked phone, including its name, phone number and push token
  • Every message, sent and received, including ones archived when a phone was unlinked
  • Every picture and attachment, deleted from our file storage, not just unlinked
  • Contacts, conversations, scheduled messages and drafts
  • API keys, webhooks, auto-replies, forwarding rules and quick replies
  • AI ghostwriter training data and any AI key you saved
  • Any paid plan, cancelled at the same time, with no further charges

What we keep, and for how long

  • Invoices and payment records: 7 years. Tax law requires it. They hold the amount, the date and the billing name, and no message content.
  • Aggregate counts that identify nobody, such as how many messages the platform carried in a month.

Deleting your account does not delete the messages still on your own phone. Uninstalling Android Texter leaves those in place for whichever SMS app you use next.

Delete some data without closing the account

Unlink a phone under Devices to remove that phone and its messages, or delete a single conversation from the app or the dashboard. To remove something else, write to [email protected] and say what.

When you unlink a phone, we keep a copy of its messages for 30 days so support can put them back if the wrong phone was removed, and then delete it automatically. The removal dialog offers to skip that and delete them immediately, and Security & Preferences shows anything still being held with a button to delete it now. You do not have to close your account to clear it.
